Does Walmart or any local computer shops still sell Win7 PCs?
Specifically - Newegg.com - Refurbished: ASUS X401-RBL4 Notebook Intel Pentium B970(2.3GHz) 14" 4GB Memory 320GB HDD

Looking to buy an Asus laptop with those specs. 320GB HDD, 4GB RAM. Preferably this particular laptop without having to order it online.

Any suggestions on places to check?

All I see at places I normally check out are Windows 8 computers.

Walmart doesn't carry a wide-range of specs, so don't hold your breath. I'm sure they still sell Windows 7, but probably not in the specs you're looking for. I'd recommend Best Buy, but only in the sense that I'd never recommend Best Buy. Ordering online is always the best option.

Eh, yeah, Best Buy is pretty lame. But if all else fails, I may try that. Depends.

I'm not very acclimated to using NewEgg, so I don't know if this item is new or not. What does "Open Box" entail/mean?

If this is brand new then I think I'll buy.

I think open box means it was opened in their warehouse so they'll sell at a reduced price or something, idk.

Open box is opened, possibly used, but returned in new condition. No refurbishing required to get it back to quality par.
Really though, if you want to buy a computer with your perfect desired specs, you'll have to buy online. Most stores with computers, whether it's WalMart or a specialized store like Best Buy or Frys, will sell the computers that appeal to the masses... And are generally found unappealing to the educated. It's easier to shop with an almost unlimited selection online.

Both. They don't have a ton of physical stores (There's one near me though, it's insanely popular) and they have a website too. They have INSANE deals. The other week they had a Core i3 desktop with 8GB RAM and 1TB HDD for $400, some of their deals are amazing.

But yeah, check them out, great store.
