Custom musical instrument case designer. They took their name from slang for fender guitar cases.
I also originally took that slang and used the handle casketcase, because it sounded more like basketcase. Eventually I just went to coffincase, and added the let since it was going to be a handle and I wanted it to be more specific to me. It didn't take long in running searches to ensure I was being somewhat original to find this case maker. I've followed them since their infancy because we share a name. 9 to 1 if it's spelled as C0ff1ncas3 it's me regardless of where you see it.

Automatic email harvesters that collect publicly listed email addresses and spam them would be stumped by the x, because they can't read the text that says remove it, because they're a computer program. So, all in all, it's to protect against spam.
