Awesome, 2nd best feature on the site.

I have to agree, that is a pretty sweet new feature. Can we display our own Chaos there though, or only that default one? Because being able to display our own there would be pretty baller.

I put some code snippets for it in the backend, but it'll take some massive brainstorming to make it good enough to implement.

So, expect it whenever. Other Chao features first, though.

Can you use whatever code you're using to display the chao in the post bit while also resizing it and have it display as the icon(ie keep the animation and everything)?

That would look horrible. I'm thinking of just cropping the head/part of the body.

Not so easily defined. Different Chao don't exactly fit the theme of the one in the post title.

But I might end up doing essentially that to save hassle.

Would it be easier to have 7 color pallet of chao that assigned a user one of the 7 bad on whatever is the most dominate color for their chao?
This doesn't allow for the complex gradient that is actually available but does individualize the chao icon. You already have a simple way to recolor.

The complex gradient probably isn't too much of a problem. It's the complex skins.
