It's an unfortunate truth.
I work 3-4 hours a day, $8 an hour. 8*3=24 8*4=32
Some days I get 5 hours, 8*5=40.

I work 8 hours a day at 17$/HR and get overtime anywhere from 10-12 hours every paycheck

I'm still in high school, and $40 a day sounds great to me, hahaha. Probably nothing you can live off of though, that sucks D:

You can live off $40/day. It won't be a lavish lifestyle but it is completely possible

if you work 4 days a week at 40 dollars a day.

4*40 = 160 a week

4 weeks in a month

160*4 = 640

In two months you'll make 1280 dollars. That's enough for an alienware computer.

Haha that's a good point, so many people buy Apple computers and get completely ripped off.

Well, while they are expensive it's hard to call it a rip off since they have their own Operating System. Before you go on about how Linux or even windows is better in general, people are willing to pay for whatever they feel most comfortable using.

Personally I'm too used to windows OS to really get a feel for apple, but some people will buy their computers based on that.

lucky minimum wage here is 7.25 lol . but I make 10 , and if your making under the table that is good money , tax free money is amazing its like if you were making 8.00s tax free thats like making 11.00s taxed an hour , but only 4 hours a day , fuck D: i couldnt do that I work 12 hours a day , 14x a month , and still work longer than people doing the 40 hours a week ,

In this economy, you're looking more to 20 hours a week. Nowhere paying minimum wage offers 40 hours a week, simply because working full time requires the employer provide various benefits. It's much cheaper for them to hire two people at 20 hours a week, and it more conveniently fits into employees' schedules (who may already have second jobs, be attending school/college, or have children to raise).

so was this all a scam? because this was taken yesterday, and it says the next payment will be...tomorrow?

Don't forget the part where they often also hire seasonally so every 90 days you don't have a job . Also taxes 401k and shit.
