Guess what I just did

Long story short, we bought a rat from a pet store, brought her home, then she popped out 12 babies a week later. 2 more weeks later they're all dead.

I just tossed 12 dead baby rats into a trashcan.

Such an intense story.
Should have fed them to the rats.

I didn't even want rats, it was my roommate who just came home with them one day...

I think they're disgusting, filthy, vile, dirty vermin. But no, most likely the pregnancy was a result of inbreeding and i think they babies just weren't healthy enough, so the mother rejected them or something, I don't really know. I don't give a shit either.

Either way, success is mine.

Sounds like an awesome event....I would freak out if I bought a rat and then it poped out 12 babies. I've heard stories of people buying mollies and then the next day having like 30

Did you know that when rats give birth, they lay on their back, and deliver it with their tiny paws. Then they chew through umbilical cord and lick up all the after-birth.

Rats aren't actually that vile or disgusting. I like them. They are very loving. And I think they are cute as a button.
