There's a drug in Russia called Krokodil that people do that actually rots their skin off.
There's a video somewhere where some chick who did it is int he doctors office, fully conscious, with the bone in her forearm almost entirely exposed, and dry enough to make a solid click when the doctor taps it with forceps.
Oh yeah, I've heard of Krokodil before. Never heard any more about it than what's in a few books though, seems like an interesting thing to research, like the retards on bath salts and spice and stuff.
Sure Russia is messed up in a way but there are people there who are doing things right.
It's not messed up in a way. It's messed up in all kinds of ways. It's not the people's fault, it's the government/ corrupt overlords.
You're talking slave trade, massive poverty, near universal alcohol and drug addiction, no real social mobility, gangs/armed violence, etc.
i'm sure most people are doing the best they can but that doesn't make the situation any better.

I don't think he's talkign shit about Russians as a population, but the corruption happening from those in Russia with power. Poverty is not always within a countries controls however, this I understand. However, he's right. Corrupt leaders obviously aren't making anything better for people who are starving and trying to ignore the harsh reality they're put in. Crime and illegal acts stem from the root of these problems.
