It's almost 1am. Time for this guy to go to bed.

As predicted, these sudden dips will occur on a daily basis. They represent a period yesterday when the forum jumped in activity. I imagine these dips will follow every day that has an explosive topic (like the Junkyard moderator nominations). I think it makes for an interesting look into the past. Fuck, rates of change are the shit. I wish I could marry Calculus.
Maybe we should just post random "this section needs a new moderator" thread and leave it open for a few days then say its inconclusive. repeat the following week.

I stopped playing it. I got as far as the Cerulean on it and it pissed me off so much I rage quit and never went back.

It was mostly the bugs and the ridiculous way of having to register. Took me months to finally register and it lagged terribly, the catching system was basically non-existant, and if you lost to a gym leader you had to wait 24 hours to challenge again. In that 24 hours, I could level up a few times beat that gym leader and probably the next one and have filled most of the Dex by then. But because of that 24 hour thing, its all put on hold and nothing is laid out the same as the original games, and a lot of times there is something in the way that stops you from advancing unless you do everything you need to do in that specific town. Example: Pewter City, there is a tree in the way of the road to Mount Moon and Cerulean, and it won't go away till you beat Brock, who is ridiculously over-powered.

Explosive topics are more along the lines of marketing. You simply need to do something on this forum which unites a common interest or group of interests, while not directly competing thats more popular.
Easier said than done, yes that is true lol.
