Celebrations & Salutations
I'd like to point out that as a whole the community dominated the post goal today and kind of has been in general. The life blood that is activity is once again pumping through LG's veins, and that's just math.

I remember back in november we had around 9 posts a day, most days less. It was mostly me, Unintelligible, and occasionally other people. Then GAME came back, him and I both had ideas to improve the forum and such, and we both applied for admin. He got it because he talked to Arti in private a lot haha, and I have to admit, he's done much better things with the forum than I ever would have been able to.

So, everyone, I would like you to thank GAME Chief/Charles Stover for the activity we have today.

When I added the post goal bar, the intended goal wasn't to double it. But I won't complain.

That won't be necessary. :P

Stapled agrees because my name says it all (or is he no longer a brony?)

Yeah. I was only going to add one to JY, but they both won by a landslide, so...

With a lot of members showing up, I think that will change. Plus they seem to say they don't post at the same times during the day. Shoudln't be a problem. If it is, and I intend on doing this soon anyway, I'll query the DB for a list of inactive members' e-mails and personally invite them back, since the mail server can't do it.

You seem to know the right things to do!
It's like you are God...

I've been running forums for longer than I've been programming (it's why I started). And I've been programming for 10 years now.

Fuck I'm old.

You are only 76,

living a decent life, making sure kids stay off of drugs, playing games with killer dragons, hunting hobbits like Sauron, driving a Kia, maybe a Scion, definitely not a Lexus, eating candy for breakfast, on a 24/7 Kelloggs Diet, champion of Capua and the bringer of the rain.

You're not.

Also there are somewhere between 48 and 60 people that seem to log in based on the active user thing. There are two admin, two global mods, and 4 standard mods. So if there are 60 that means its a 7.5:1 mod ratio, which might sound like too much but consider that say each of those 7 posted 5 times a day somewhere on the forum.
There is also Stapled but I never see him so I didn't count him(which is why I forgot him when I counted). Plus like Charles said Kain and I have very little overlap time-wise so it'll help ensure coverage.
You can also consider the future, we're more active not than we have been in awhile and new users are coming so it actually makes sense to think ahead.

If anything, there is only one more mod than we need. It will even itself out when new users show up. No biggie.

Won't be another mod appointment for a while.
