When you have sites like TPB, who needs netflix
Downloading is inferior to streaming. Space/memory consumption. Streaming things is also faster than downloading things. Less time consuming.
Also you won't always know what you're looking for when looking for things to watch. Netflix presents available options to you.
I'm not a proponent of Netflix, because personally I hate it, but TPB is far from perfect. TPB also seems to have a lot of outdated stuff. Demonoid was better.

People on 4chan always recommend fuq.com because it has like 9001 categories and 9001 videos in each category. They index videos from all of the free porn sites across the net
I just stream things from sites like 1channel. While the links might not always work and the quality may not be the best, it's free so I can't complain.

Porn sites still have "0day" full-length videos in high definition. Many premium services actively monitor free porn sharing websites to make sure their content isn't there. I'd say most content on Brazzers cannot be found on free sites. Same goes for RK especially, and pretty much any big name publisher. Tube sites are generally restricted to trailers and promos.

So much this. Personalized show suggestions have given me some beautiful series that I've grown to absolutely adore. My beloved Doctor Who, for example.
And my hard drive is absolute shit. And I usually Neflix quickly, like clicking Play right before eating. Fuck the time it takes to download a show first. I can watch something impulsively, spur of the moment. No hard drive space, no download time, higher quality, legally.
