But anyway, I know that feeling. Thomas was trying to teach me something in programming yesterday, but I had stayed up so late that I was just completely beat. I apologized to him and shut off my monitor, and within a minute was fast asleep. Didn't wake up until like 10PM and then I couldn't fall asleep haha.

I find it's better, or rather easier to just be yourself (cheese). People have grown to accept my sarcastic and blatant attitude at work. I think it's because I give them disclosures to sign upon introduction about me. e.g. don't take it to heart if I tell you you're full of shit.

I actually heard this described rather elegantly. The reason you should be yourself is because it shows confidence. When you are putting on a facade, you aren't confident. Why kind of person isn't confident? Not the kind of person a girl wants to date. You know what's worse? Being the girl that a non-confident guy thinks he has a shot with. Not being confident is insulting to the girl. What you're essentially saying to her is "You're shitty enough for me to think I have a chance." Panty dropper.
