Speaking as someone that deals with category three and higher hurricanes every year, the only thing I have to say the northerners is "Grow a pair, you pussies."

Not really. We see it as a time to stock up on alcohol/food and shoot shit with each other while we have a few days off. It only sucks when you live in a flood area.

Stayed home from school, didn't want to walk home in the rain with sandy coming through. Fucking dry as the desert outside right now.. Just wind -__- Could have went to school!

I agree with the grow a pair even though i live in NY i almost never see hurricanes. I work in a supermarket and i worked on sunday (the day before) and i worked almost 9 hours stock boy and people were buying out the gallons of water, soda, bread, snacks, ects like they were going to be stuck in their house for a year and the supermarket was on my block and all we had was rain and strong winds . I knew this sandy hoe wasnt gonna be shit compared to what everyone else is getting.
