It's that time of year again!
When Vie starts feeling the chilly weather coming and breaks out the knitting to make sweaters, blankets, gloves and more. Only bad part is Louisiana is teasing me. It makes it reasonably chilly one day, then hot and humid the next. I want my cold, gloomy days and I want them pronto!

AHH! A HITLER AMIGURUMI! Must find pattern. I want for myself. Even if Amigurumis are hard to make because they are so tiny. >_>

Exact same thing here. My favorite is early in the morning a 6:40-7 it is 55, and within an 1/2 hour it's at 80.

Man, you all should come to michigan. Where I am, Canada is south of me. (It's a Michigan joke to tell people from other states - in and around Detroit and the metro detroit area, parts of Canada are actually south of you, look at a map of michigan + canada) If Matt ever comes back, you can ask him haha.

Man, knitting looks fun though o: Imagine making 'dem jew-golds by knitting. That would be a fun job, until it gets repetitive.

Yea, I've been to Sarnia, London, and Kingsville, Ontario. Right in that area.

People don't really want hand-kit items/want to pay the price for them. There are those few who would pay the price, but they are impossible to find. Last thing I sold was in an auction on Etsy.com It was a queen size, seamless patchwork blanket made in Charcoal Grey and Baby Blue alpaca yarn . Cost me $60 to make (only the cost of yarn, which I bought off ebay at a super steal in this huge lot), and I sold it for around $350. Took too long to make though.

Oh wow, that's cool. I would buy a little trinket or something, if you were willing to make and then send in an envelope or something haha. How much are your prices for something smaller like that? I would totally buy a huge blanket off you, but it would probably take forever to make and cost me more then I have haha.

It really just depends on the type of yarn I am using (i.e-cashmere vs. acrylic), how difficult the pattern is (is it knit flat, and sewed, or seamless and knitted as one, plain Jane and a continuous pattern , etc.), the size of the piece, and shipping costs.

I can make some pretty decent things with an acrylic blend that is soft, durable, and a reasonable cost. (Between $10.00 - $30.00). Right now I am working a few things for to my sister-in-law's friends, so there are a few things already in query.

I'm playing around with spare materials right now while I wait for my order of yarn to come in. At the moment it looks like it'll be a simple ribbed scarf in black acrylic mix, but it could change into anything along the way. Lol If I finish it I'll hit you up. :'D
