So I'm writing a book.
It's just a guide on getting started with internet marketing and such, should I post it here when it's done, would something like that interest the community?
Souleater wrote:It might interest a few people. There are sections for it, but the JY is a fine place to post it also.
Whomp wrote:The junkyard would probably get the most attention, I'll post it in the guide section area and then post a link to the thread there in the junkyard for those that don't bother surfing through the forum and only lurp the junkyard.

I think a fair amount of people would be interested in this. Is it going to be a pdf?
Flareboy323 wrote:Oh cool, sounds interesting. Do you have any plans on selling it or profiting off of it in any way? Or, because it's your first book, are you going to release it for free? o:
Whomp wrote:I was going to release it for free on this forum, and one other internet marketing forum that I'm a member of. I was also going to put it for sale as an e-book and charge $3.99, who knows it may actually make me some money.
Whomp wrote:I'm also going to be launching my internet marketing blog at the same time, I'll use them to promote each other. When I get rich and famous I'll remember all you fuckers <3
The Unintelligible wrote:lol sorry if this brings your hopes down, but it really isn't that easy. At all. Books like this have been written before (and truthfully probably better books at that). If it was possible to be wealthy by just doing what you're doing, then I'm sure plenty of people would have deep pockets right now.
I mean it's sometimes good to be ambitious, but what's the point of having a head full of steam when you haven't nearly begun to establish a lucrative business?
Don't get me wrong, I encourage you to continue doing what you're doing. But it's going to take a lot more time and effort invested to ultimately succeed in that goal of yours (namely being rich and famous).
