Your argument is invalid for the following reasons:
1. No one likes to read threads about how LG is inactive. Everyone knows, and your threads talking about it are fucking stupid and adding to the problem. When you post depressing stupid shit like site inactivity, it brings down everyone around you, and since everyone on LG is technically around you, you are bringing some people down and not making them want or feel even slightly inspired to post.
2A. It does not generate activity, not activity with any sustainable validity at any rate. The activity it generates is short lived with people hating on one side or the other, and is lucky to last more than 10 - 15 posts, if even.
2B. The posts are garbage generated posts. See above reason pertaining to activity. Generally posts from people that are just cruising the forums and feel that they want to either add a small bit of fun to the thread, or to post something to dissolve the tension.
3. Enjoying it is what is the key. If you enjoy yourself and have fun with your posts instead of bitching about the lack of activity, you will generate activity. Bring up useless topics that are enjoyable andwould inspire people to post and be active within that thread, or even post threads reguarding the content and topic themselves. I saw over 300 posts an hour at one point when LG was on the decline in 1.0 because of just that.
4. Look at almost any other site like LG that is out there. LG is doing better than they are. LG might not be worth the [hypothetical] $16,483 it was worth at one point in 2008/2009 but it is still doing better than most, and insanely better than some.

Plobby is Alive. Shane is still around, I see him every once in a while on MSN. Torian is also still alive, he's just hanging with Jenny apparently. Logical was really just a bot and "secret/hidden" admin.

Not sure. The last time I really had any tangible contact with Jenny was over a year ago and I've never really had any contact with Torian outside of the occasional posts here.

LG is active enough considering what it's been through. There are a lot of factors that brought Lg to this point. I think the point of LG's existence now might be the community. I mean, I'm here doing what I do because I love you kids.
Though admittedly I'm kind of ignoring you at the moment because Darksiders 2 has consumed my heart and soul. Still I'm lurking making sure things aren't goin' batshit crazy.
