Making

A minecraft Skin upload client, got bored so yeah.


Any nigga help me with the code for uploading the skin ? Or how to get it ? I'm not good yet at FTP and all.

Firstly, what programming language are you using?

Also I'll need more details on the project. What FTP server is this? A personal one of yours, or a third-party one? Any other specifics of the project that you feel are worth mentioning would be appreciated as well.

I'm programming in VB.NET and it's an upload to minecraft button which i never tried before.
I am also going to add in a code to save previous login to the user if he wants to, and a " current skin " picturebox ( which hasn't worked yet ) but the code i correct though...
Aaaaand i'd like to add advanced options like preview the selected image to upload in a picturebox and progress bar and others on the way xDD

Also, this project sounds pretty easy for the most part (see: entirely easy). You should be able to do it.

Side note: You need to ween yourself from VB.NET ASAP. Move on to C# or something else. Just the thought of it makes me cringe a little.

I do C#, but VB.NET is the only thing i have on this PC.

At any rate, I'll probably help you more in depth once I catch you on MSN. I want to see this Minecraft button, though.

Finally, are you certain that you need FTP for this? Keep in mind that things that involve uploading don't always directly involve FTP. It could be creating a byte stream from a file and passing it over to an HTTP medium, then in turn abstractly undergoing the FTP process.

Ok finally got c# and yeah I think I can use an http wrapper for this.
I'll try to get on MS. Got grounded cause I spent all day yesterday playing minecraft.
