I use that credit card trick, it has been 5 months since i paid my xbox live bills and it works perfectly.

Use a prepaid card or an expiring credit card and when it will expire you won't have to pay every month for gold or anything else.

On topic, you can buy a legit year of xbox live from hackforums for 19$ (what i do)

off topic, The prepaid card trick doesent work, chances are you have your parents credit card on your account still and dont know it because once you put a card on you cant take it off without putting another card on. Or its because your in france.
