Remember when you were in school..
And you would try and find a way past the school's blocked wifi sites?

Now you can apply that to work, unless thw wifi is unblocked.

Work is really slow right now, hey LG, whats up?

if they use things like centrally placed web blockers, you've got a problem unless you can access the central server and key in your own exceptions. That only works if the web admins are retards. In India, that happens to be the case a lot. And believe me, every little bit of unblocked web can save you from boredom on slow days in the consulting room, with fewer patients to hand.

...or you could just use a proxy or VPN.

This is what I do at my schools to get on facebook. I even help teachers when they need to get on youtube for a video for their teachings.

...........

or they could just filter out proxies and VPNs too. Do you own and/or run the WebBlocker program?

Give me some credit, I've been working with computers for 25 years now.

We would use proxies until we realized that the teacher could not only see everything we were doing on his computer,
but had the ability to take over it, make fun of you, and give you detention. Which he did frequently.

clever. that would have been of some use back in the day, but then they eventually find out and disable everything.

The day they block everything is the day the high schoolers riot, either that or pay attention in class..but thats unlikely.
update: 13 customers came in, 8 bought stuff. Profitable day?

60% Sales could be a reasonably high turnover depending on your job. In example, if you get 60% to buy a day as a car salesman, you'd very well be the world's best.

I get no more money if more things sell. We only have to make a certain amount in sales a month to stay in operation, but since its a corporation the did something weird and put another store two blocks from ours, its bigger and next to a target, so of course it does better than ours.

I think they are waiting until we are no longer profitable to shut down my gamestop. It doesnt really matter if your a clerk though..
