Working out is rough.
But I fucking love it so much.
If only I had a woman to share such a love with haha.

Damn anime for making love look so glorious. D:

Jesus motherfucking Christ.

I am sick of hearing how you want a woman, your workouts, smoking weed (pha!) and anime. >.>

If that's all you do no wonder you don't have a girlfriend. <.<

Get out there! No if, and, or but. Just do it.

But girls are soo hard to get ya know xP

No they arent. Telling yourself that is what makes a woman not want you.

Nah, you just need motivation. Let loose. Girls are attracted to guys that doesnt give a flying fuck, but at the same time a guy who gives a fuck.

Be that guy, Ethan. Be that guy.

My personal suggestion is start doing things for yourself not to get a girl. You don't want to change completely and find out (when you get a girl) she's just in love with some fake persona you've made for yourself. How ever I commend your effort to try and improve yourself. I suggest really trying to get over your problem with eating things. I honestly think you may have some form of OCD which you may need to learn better coping skills for.
Also love in real life is nothing like anime. You're going to land up extremely disappointed if you use it as a basis for what love is or should be.
It's just unrealistic, as sad as that may be.

I try to let loose but then I shrivel back up and protect myself. It's a terrible chain of recurring events.
What guy? What guy?

Yeah but what if I don't like the person I am now? I honestly don't like myself very much so if I have to change myself, it wouldn't bother me. But I get what you are saying.
The eating habit shit is the hardest thing I have ever tried breaking. It took me an hour just to try a nibble of a chicken nugget. It's not that I am afraid, I just get overwhelmed out of nowhere and anxiety takes over.
As for anime and love, yeah I know. ): I know it will never be possible to love like that, but in my head I get these images of loving a woman like that and it kills me so badly.
It's just the core idea of the thought of being able to love to that extent is what I was trying to say, even though it's nearly impossible to love like that.
Erg.

Then change yourself into what you would like to be. That would probably be a product of OCD. Basically you feel an overwhelming feeling you can explain, almost like something horrible is going to happen when you attempt to eat it. You've built up a habit of only eating "safe" foods, probably as a way to cope with something or as product of stress. I'm going to assume it's worse when you're stressed out or overwhelmed too which may come out in other ways. Don't take this the wrong way but (your obsession with love and getting a girl friend. It seems to be something you think about all the time.) You may also have other small things you do to cope with that anxiety feeling. You have to understand the more you push forward and force yourself to eat other foods the less you'll feel that feeling. The best thing to remember is though it feels uncomfortable and overwhelming, but that's all it is. There is no physical harm coming to you. You'll actually feel better once you can push yourself forward and break out of those habits. I've got some really strange OCD habits myself bro. I know you can do it. I nearly cried when I wasn't allowed to throw out a pickle jar because I felt like it wasn't good anymore even though it wasn't past it's expiration date. Haha

Anime isn't really good to get too caught up in that. You may end up ruining a good relationship if you do expect it to be like an anime. Anime skips all the fights over petty things or the times when things aren't so interesting. If they were to show a real relationship it wouldn't be quite as entertaining. (Unless you were showing a really unhealthy one.) It's fine to enjoy the concept of love, or the idea of that kind of love just don't get disappointed when it's not. I think you're more so in love with the idea/feeling of love it's self not so much the girlfriend part.

When I was about 15 I met the guy who changed my outlook on what love really is.

His exact words to me: You are not a fucking princess, I am not a damn prince on a glorious white horse, I am not here to save you from evil, or take you away to some faraway land to a gigantic castle to live happily ever after. This is no fairy tale. They don't exist. This is life. You are a normal girl, and I am a normal guy. We hate, feel jealous, get sad, and love all at the same time. Love is this... Odd thing. Everyone thinks it is a wonderful feeling. Well, it's hard to explain, but it is hate, anger, happiness, depression, and longing mixed all into one. It never ends with happily ever after.

I could safely agree and say that I am obsessed with love and having a girlfriend. I've longed for it for so long that if the opportunity arose, I would probably whimper out as shown in my communication skills with others.
Already have started changing myself, I no longer sit in front of my computer for hours on end from the moment I get home from school until morning next day, I now do stuff with myself instead of sitting around. That was a big feat if you asked me.
Also with the eating new foods, that's pretty much how I feel. Something really bad is seemingly going to happen if I try something new and I am afraid of the bad things in life. I try to run in the opposite direction of it all the time, but I know, it's life.

As for the anime and love, I know not to mix the two together and I am working on trying to get it through my head that that kind of love doesn't exist, which I see everyday through my best friend and his girlfriend.

That is pretty harsh but I understood it. There's a one in a million chance of it being a happily ever after, never rule it out. :P

With human emotions? Highly doubtful. We are creatures made to be happy one minute and pissed off the next. Emotions like that tend to get to people sometimes. Maybe the lie that all is happy all the time, but never the reality. Ever.

That's the most retarded thing I have ever read.
It's not always happy or sad and that guy seems like he's been dumped too many times to realize that, and now only sees having someone as misery waiting to happen. You should consider every relationship a learning experience, enjoy the time you have and apply the new knowledge to another person if it doesn't work out.

Minus the most retarded thing I've ever read comment I agree.
I notice a lot of times a relationship has a "mellow" feeling. Where it's not really happy or sad, it just is. I feel like too many people think love needs to be this roller coaster ride of emotions when it really doesn't need to be at all. Sure there are fights, disagreements, good times, and bad times... It doesn't mean it always needs to be one or another. Relationships require balance.
Though I agree with the idea we are not princesses or princes, we're people, and as people shouldn't paint an over zealous picture of what love is. :3

I will just reply to the both of you at the same time. I really have mixed emotions on what love should be. I always figured with a relationship came love and maybe that's why I failed so badly with the last girl that actually gave me a chance to show myself to her. Now that I think about it, I was too focused on love to just spend time with her and have a good time. (NOTE:: There was no sex in this relationship/fling(we weren't officially dating) but there was a lot of moments where we got a little steamy. (winkyface))
However, what I really want and I have always wanted, is somebody to see often, someone to talk to and talk about everything with, someone that would give comfort, compassion and all those other things that come with a caring relationship.

What I need to do is erase the obsession to find and obtain love and just have a good time already. FUCK.

Also, re-reading this thread has made me feel like I am really pathetic, sorry guys.

Maybe retarded is a little harsh but it grinds my gears when people are that bleak about it. Value the time your alone to figure out who you really are, realize that if someone won't accept you as yourself, they aren't worth your time, and if you do find someone, don't invest your entire being but appreciate what you have. Life isn't meant to be taken so seriously in my opinion.
