First attempt, I'm happy with how it's turning out.

This went amazing well. I couldn't believe I was so successful on my first try.

That is until I discovered somebody must have confused powdered sugar with flower and mixed the flower with powdered sugar. Wanna know how I discovered this? Well, this happened when I cooked my noodles :<.

are they done yet? :D

Well, I am 1/3 native american. So there's a chance one of my ancestors was a chieftain.
#14
I'm pretty sure it's impossible to be 1/3 something...

I can't decide what to try and cook tonight. I don't have the stuff to make honeyoat bread.

My best friend messaged me today and asked if I wanted to go out to eat with him the night before valentines. For some reason it has me thinking of making truffles or something of the likes filled with Cointreau, grand marnier, or crème de fraise based chocolate for him

I say dabble a bit in some online recipe database or cookbook for ideas. Or look to what you normally eat to make from scratch.

I think I'll make some petits fours. My mum loves them, but they're hard to find here.
#24
Eclairs and pastry cream!!! Easier than you think. Also the dough used in this, pâté a choux, can also be used in savory pastries too.

All you need is 2 pots, a ziploc bag or two, and a cookie sheet as far as equipment.

I don't have any unsalted butter >.<. I assume it'll alter the taste, but how dramatic would it affect it?

You can add a little sugar, or subtract whatever salt in the recipe. It won't drastically change it.

How can you not have sugar?
Also, omelet au fromage?

I'm not sure, I guess we just don't ever eat anything sweet. We use sugar in the raw for coffee, but that's about it.

Cooking kids, I need a suggestion, I have some awesome spaghetti, but I can't decide between prawn and mussels with cream, or pork and bacon bolognese with olives. I have the ingredients for both.
