My friend seems to believe anon is run some hge ddos campaign at the moment. I'm unaware of any such activity and no one seems to be freaking out. Any one know what's up?

Anonymous launches largest attack ever crippling government and music industry sites

they posted that on their twitter...Why exactly are they attacking a $120.00 standalone server running an information site for the government as "retaliation" against the government?

This doesn't hurt the government at all or effect them in any way....All it does is make it harder for CITIZENS to get information off of it they need.

See, Anonymous doing this DDoSing shit is dumb. DDoSing isn't good unless you're actually making people lose money, or actually affecting something. Whats the point of DDoSing fbi.gov? There isn't one besides making a point, showing that they're against what the FBI is doing.

Making a statement is useless when the people you're making the statement to is drinking wine coolers and laughing at the effort. No-one visits those websites (Except for convicts that check their status on FBI) but other than that, it was a very stupid "Statement" to make.
