My First Produced Song FL10 Noraa - Excursion

This is my first produced song, on fl so if i can get feedback i might as well be making more :3

Crescendo at the start doesn't really go anywhere

Saw waves are boring as fuck

Not enough of a change to warrant a repeat (:50)

Getting super repetitive. (1:25)

No real sense to the new sounds (1:30ish)

Just generally bored with the entire thing by this point, much too repetitive. (2:10)

Kinda dragging it's way out (3:30)

Case Study:



Repeats at first, slight break for vocals, then crescendo.

Crescendo breaks with his new chorus, then vocals again, breaks into a completely different formt, that still fits.

Adds sounds for a few measures, breaks down into vocals again.

Back into the chorus, in basically the same way as before.

Breaks down into the lead sound only, slowly filtering slightly, layers on vocals, begins slow crescendo similar to begin, breaks back into the chorus.

Breaks into versey-bridge type thing, then starts simplifying, mostly just lead and kick followed by vocal break, and then back into the chorus one more time.

Slowly removes layers as the song winds down, eventually taking it to a small portion of only percussion (for DJ mixing purposes), ending with a light cymbal

Wow dude, lol didnt need much criticism on my FIRST song. Of course its gonna be shitty. Its also called dirty dutch of house music.
Benny Benassi is a fucking legend, he's been doing this ever since. There is a big ass difference between DJ's & Producers, DJ's Mix & Producers Make.

I've only been playing around with FL, im not a pro. I know it sucks also it doesn't mean i can't make a better new song
