So, I just made a standup desk.
And it's amazing. This is just a trial desk, but if the standing thing works out well I'll buy parts to make a better one. I was inspired by the Lifehacker article.

Yep, I can't wait for my legs to start killing me. But, apparently it goes away after two days and after that you feel amazing. Sounded interesting, so I'll report back if it's just internet hype or not.

It's different from my norm. Plus, I spend way too much time on my ass in a desk chair. The idea is to force yourself to take breaks form the computer and get other things done. Laundry, dishes, etc.

They're on the wall beside my monitor. This was taken before I bothered to hang them up.

Standing at a desk seems counter productive. Also I don't see why you need the eefort involved in making a "standing" desk. if you want to spend less time in on your ass, just get up more?

That's the weird part. I never remember to get up. I usually just end up clicking random spots on the screen zoning out.
