Well this is sudden.
If all goes well, I'm starting culinary school in a week.

I know the school~ I did a tour of it back when I was trying to figure out where I wanted to go. It looked nice, but LCI was closer, and didn't require me to move. That and LCI did an associates program with cheaper tuition; and is about to implement a bachelor's program.

Looking forward to it.
Only problem? No job right now, and student loans probably wont be in time to get me gas money. In addition, my car's a gas guzzler, it takes 1/4 tank to get there and back.

See if the school has a job placement program. That's how I got mine, we have a school publicist that constantly calls in favors to people he knows and pulls strings to get students jobs. <_< he's like a mob boss. Freakin' fat Italian guy.

If they don't, you better start running around looking for a job; and be willing to take anything. Or ask for a loan from friends. It would suck to have to take a LOA right as school starts. x_x

That have job placement and someone to help me find a place closer to school... But that's not gonna happen in a week. Fortunately, the beginning of the program I dont have to attend - I already have my servsafe card.

I got excited about a thread i saw in french with iJenn posting and others then just noticed that it was Google translating the page into French xD
