Only one person was allowed to choose, I spent the rest on Oxen, broski.

The supplies have been purchased!

With only 50 food, our first day will be spent hunting.

June 1, 1848
We started down the trail with:
10 oxen
5 sets of clothing
500 bullets
3 wagon wheels
3 wagon axles
3 wagon tongues
50 pounds of food

June 2, 1848
We shot 2 pounds of meat.

June 3, 1848
We didn't have any luck on this hunting trip! We returned to the wagon empty-handed.

June 5, 1848
We shot 679 pounds of meat but were able to carry back only 200 pounds of meat.

Finally, we can start moving.
