Here I come
(in march)

Anyone live near there? I might need someone to hook me up with drinks.

I make a yearly trip, or I did when my aunt and uncle lived there. But Mostly I hung out in Jersey and made day trips into the city.
Important info: Everything is cheaper in Jersey, don't try to get out of your car at gas stations, never drive in the city(buses are your friend so get a card they let you use the metro and the bus, keep your wallet in your front pocket and you hand on it, there isn't a good part of the city after dark and things are only slightly safer in the day, Little Italy is as dangerous as any where, cab drivers won't take you to Harlem, stick to places where there are lots of people if you can manage it, tourist traps are no better than deserted alley ways
