There are plenty of ways this place can be ran, At the moment, it appears to be desperately grabbing as many members as it can. even when they make the community seem like shit.


A community can either be ran as.

1: Like gaiaonline, Everyone is always welcome no matter how annoying, or how much trolling they do, but with many swift daily bans.

2: Like logical, Everyone is always welcome no matter how annoying, or how much trolling is done, But with no bans since they need members.

3: Like an Army. The honorable are rewarded, The disgraceful are banished.


You obviously prefer choice 2, Where as I like number 3.

You clearly assumed what choice I like. I never stated I like option 2, but at the present time its what is in effect. Option 3 cannot be put into place until a base community is established. I will never state that there should be no bans. Trollers do in fact deserve it, but know the difference between trolling and plain ignorance.

And so what do you propose, ban every member who has a tendency to be ignorant or idiotic? Not only would the forum become dormant, but it may also hinder new members from joining simply out of dislike for the strict judgement. I'm not saying to remove moderating or ignore the users who create problems, but if the noobs only crime is being absurd, then I see no reason to take action, unless they become a problem to the community.

Kids go to daycare or school.
Elderly go to a home
Mentally disabled go to special classrooms / jobs / ect, or in most cases, live out their days at home or in a nursing home via government funding for disability checks.
