I think i figured out what he is doing. Once we get on this thread. since thats a Image and its almost always automatically shown it logged our ips somehow.

X is hosting the image, when you view the page you download the image to your machine. Whatever is hosting said image can then log IP.
That's why I blocked the image.

Anyone who opened this thread got their IP logged.

That little blank box beside the image is what Log's the IPs ( It's a html page with php code on it that grabs your IP but when you wrap in the link in image codes on a forum//ect it functions as if it's binded to the page.

The Image on the page is incase you want to get one persons IP in particular. You tell them "yo look at this pic" and once they view it it's logged.

It's really just like 6 lines of PHP and a little HTML.

I'll put out a release to it later but the function itself is widely available on the net.

don't think he has a way to link IPs to people, if I remove it then he will be able to match it to you.

IP logging via that method = absolutely unnecessary

Image + view + http refer = IP logged.

Host an image on a server, Setup a log for all HTTP refers for traffic to it. You will be able to pull information such as, Usernames, IP`s, Time stamp, Thread viewed, Ect. Similar to what I showed you with the input method for tracking ip`s/ hiding information / PIP / whatever the fuck you want to call it Iframes.

anyways, It would be alot simpler if you just logged http refers to an image hosted in a server you own. Pop it into your sig, Log traffic, Done.

I am already well aware of a few of the members here who have been doing such things for the last few months...
