Decent site. We've had some issues with file uploads on this site in the past, so we may look to this site and their API as a possible solution.

Whoa, whoa, whoa. How did I not know about this? How big is min.us's sponsor list? I've actually told people IRL about min.us, without having known it had any affiliation here.

I mean, I'm sure this has to be some sort of ad-based API, which is beautiful, but the reply by minus is bitchin'.

LG played a huge part in helping minus grow. We were one of their top sources a while ago. If I'm not mistaken.

Thomas I think you're embellishing a little. They obviously had a huge budget and a talented team of developers, so lets not over exaggerate our role, lol. Still, I use the site and recommend it, it's quite nice. Though I did notice that gifs loaded pretty slow on their network, and I often had to mirror those to imgur. Not sure if they've fixed that.

By the way, perhaps someone from the minus team could answer this. I know the website frontend (I'm not sure about the infrastructure behind the site) is/was developed in Python. Was it built on top of any sort of framework (such as Django)?

They load gifs just fine, it's what I use to store all my gifs

I actually use minus a lot. I host my wallpaper collections and stencils on there, I had like 500,000 views before, but they just removed view counting :(
