Dynasty Warriors 7.

Is plain amazing. I love this game so much.

7 has been 100% better than 6 so far. Although no game could be better than 3. (When they started the giant overhaul of giving main characters their own looks.

I actually got addicted to this series growing up.

I love Dynasty Warriors. I haven't played 7, but I've played 3 and 6 and one for the PSP, and have done everything in them. They're basically the same game, with just changes to the mechanics. I don't care how many Dynasty Warriors ask me to beat the Yellow Turban Rebellion and Hu Lao Gate, I'll keep on playing it.

All of the games are very fun. And I love the rush of battling Lu Bu each time at Hu Lao. Damn tank right there.

In what ways did 7 change from 6? Did the characters keep their new looks from 6, as well as the change in weapons?

WELL.........
In 7 you have a choice to change weapons in game. For example, before you start a battle, you can go to a menu to select which two weapons to bring with and then in battle you can switch to the other one in mid-battle. Which in my opinion is really awesome!

There is a Story Mode where you go through the story of each kingdom and you play as one character for one mission and then the next mission you play as a different character. For example, during the Yellow Turban Rebellion you play as Liu Bei then the next battle at Hu Lao Gate you play as Guan Yu. It's really fun!

I think they added new looks for 2-3 new characters in the game, I am not sure though because I have not gotten that far.

The new weapons are amazing. Nuff' said.

Man, it sounds great =(. I want a 360 or PS3 so badly. I've been restricted to PC/Wii gaming, but I haven't even touched the Wii in months.

Oh man, when you get one back, definitely get this game.
And if you have ps3, save up for the new SSX game. It shall be awesome.

I have been a massive fan of Dynasty Warriors series. I'm still 2nd in one of the high scores in 6

7 isn't really great, but it's missing out important features that 2,3, 4 and 5 once had. I'll still stick to the games that haven't been tainted by Tecmo.

I became a fan during the 2nd one. I remember how bad the graphics were haha.
But I do think that 7 is pretty great.

I know. 2 had like max hit combo of 4... XD yet the elite guards were pimpin' ;D

Haha, I remember those bad combos. Everything was so unorganized back at 2. Personally, I was a big fan of the Xtreme Legends versions.

Yeah I had the xtreme legends I liked how you gain several bonus characters if you had both 3 and 3XL for example ^^

Yeah that was always a blast! And then when Empires came out and they introduced the concept of taking bases over, I fell in love.
I thought it was so much fun kicking the shit out of the stronghold captains and claiming all those bases.

Empires wasn't so great in my opinion. I had 5 Empires and it was really easy to complete.

Ever played Strikeforce?

Yeah, it was really easy, but the bases were fun in my opinion. And no I have not played Strikeforce yet. :\

I played Strikeforce on the PSP, and I'd have to agree with you. It was the worst one I've played. They tried something new with having your characters change form (I thought the forms looked cool), but that's all it had going for it.
