Your disc drive's motor went out.

My Warranty was up last August there's no way i'm spending at least $100.00 for a repair, Pawn shop that shizz

i feel paying monthly to play with other people is stupid when PS3 online is free :)

Pawn shops never purchase for retail. It not having a working DVD drive, you'll only get what, $20? On Craigslist alone, they go for $30-50.
I'll buy it for $40.

xbox live makes you a better player in my opinion.
ive played on my friends ps3 and theres not really a challenge most of the time.
i guess you only pay for online if you really want to play online.
