LG never really was dead
I just looked at the bottom of the home page and saw so many users online, but over half of which I've never heard of.
The reason being, I never go outside JY and Weighted Discussion, and sometimes occasionally gaia.

So I surfed some of the other threads I ignore and found an entirely different community here on LG posting. o_o All as close friends as we are.

So...we are not alone.
wtf

Inrl I freaking hate spiders! We caught one one time and had our friend smoke it. Haha. But they scare me in all honesty.

So LG is never actually dead. There's always over 400 registered users online and even more guests.

Yeah, I came from that originally...a long time ago. But even then that community always seemed subservient to the one we have. Clever metaphor: LG works like a high school lunch room. There are lots of place to sit but everyone really wants to sit with at the cool kids table.
Though in this sense the cool kid table consists of people that contribute or have contributed or have distinguished themselves in some way and then there is just everyone else. I imagine most people come to LG though with no intention other than figuring out how to hack and trade stuff on game x and then start talking to other people doing the same thing and never have any reason to do any thing else.

And then there's people like me who have been here for a few years, but have been active then inactive for random periods of time, and haven't contributed much of anything useful :P
