And everybody says I'm an asshole for blaming white kids for stealing things, not loaning people money or donating to charities, for not holding doors for girls, and demanding world leaders apologize for for bank robberies, murders, wars, and genocides

There is no apology for stupidity, only excuses. The truth is fear, and obliviousness to their own actions.

My point was more 'leaders shouldn't be blamed, the individual people who committed the crime should'

What makes a leader? The ability to supervise those under them. Leaders are always to blame more than the individuals since they should know, discarding if they actually do or not.
