Maybe the language packs should uninstalled and the bugs should be reported to vBulletin so they can work out the kinks?

They've been uninstalled. The problem was that somebody posted vBulletin 3 language pack in the vBulletin 4 section. So it went through and started replacing phrases in the english pack. I've go to go through manually and fix it.

Why not just wait for a patch on the vBulletin 4 version? Or request one?
