school walkout tomorrow

shit load of teachers are getting laid off so i guess a bunch of kids are doing a walk out.
any of you do this before?

yeah, we did it once when they removed pop machines. everyone only did it because= free day of school. no one actually used the machines anyway

We did last year.
But school found out, had cops all around school.
People got fined, and put back in school.

TL;DR
Cops in sight, don't walk out.

budget cuts, and i didnt start it, some kid on facebook made a group and all my friends invited me so yeah.

Actually when I lived in California a few years back this was a really big deal.
Teachers were getting laid off due to budget cuts and were also losing a lot of their pay and benefits.
Pretty crazy to see about 350+ people walking down the streets with signs.

There's a difference between getting fired and laid off.

And yes, we did it when my school laid off a bunch of teachers, made us ride the "shuttle" a.k.a walk in a single file line to go to the library at lunch, and took away our ability to go outside during study block. We just basically all left and went to Burger king for the rest of the day.

That happened to me my grade 7 teacher got laid off after slapping a kid and saying 'Fuck ' a lot and showing some violate movie about Nazi - Escape from Sobibor - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
