Dude, If it's an independent clause by itself, it can stand as a simple sentence.
Such as;
"The dog is purple."
It is a simple sentence because it is one independent clause that stands alone. Just because someone writes two different simple sentences, doesn't mean you have to combine them. They are fine standing alone.

Some people just like spelling things wrong. That what they see other people doing so they adapt it. I know I dont have perfect grammar. And I dont try to. Infact I probably overuse periods and like to add "..." to the end of things. I am not a grammar nazi but I like to be able to read things without those abreviations. :P
