I have decided
To create an entire 8-bit soundtrack to a non-existant game.
#2
Make something in it say Eli.
Or make a song called Eli.

Kay thanks.

The thing is, I wanted it to be an epic.
So more along the lines of:

-Title
-Intro sequence
-Home Town
-Field
-Forest
-Mountain
-Sea
-Cave
-Town 2
-Town 3
-Cutscene 1
-Cutscene 2
-World 1 battle
-World 2 Battle
-3 or 4 Character themes
-Generic mini-boss theme
-Boss theme (2 or 3, minor variations)
-Final Boss, 1st encounter
-Final Dungeon
-Final Dungeon Battle
-Final Boss 2nd encounter (Faster, more aggressive version of 1st)
-Credits

Speaking of intro sequence, I went with the stereotypical dream sequence.

Dream Sequence by 8-Bit World on SoundCloud - Create, record and share your sounds for free

Mind if I have a copy of these?
#13
What for?
#14
To listen to. This is awesome!
#15
I'll be releasing them in packs as I complete them.

Intro songs, battle songs, town songs, Enviro songs, etc.
#16
Epic. I'll be waiting :)

I'm really only talented vocally(so I am told), I can't read sheet music, and can only strum a few chords on a guitar after repetition for about three years.
I just simply can't wait to see what I do with a music maker <3
#32
Sheet music just takes practice broski.

Yeah, I understand the fact that it is memorization however It's like stepping head first into a new language.
I'm going to attempt to learn sheet music over the summer.
#34
It's much easier than a new language.
Just memorize the patterns and you're good.
