iPod Touch WiFi Help

Ok So Im Using My iPod Touch..
Regularly I Use it with wifi since I have windows 7..
That new wifi feature..
Anyways..
Now.. I connect to my wifi, but the computer wont detect that I connected..
Whats the problem..
And it says,"Microsoft Virtual WiFi Miniport Adapter has a problem - Detected"

I have AT&T Internet..
So if i get a router, how does it work..

You plug it in to you modem when you get one you will know how trk it.

lol, if im thinking correctly, the at&t "modem" you have is also a router.
doesn't it have built in WiFi and 3-4 Ethernet sockets as well?

yeah just go with a router its easier :b

It Has an Ethernet, DSL, and Power..

That means only one ethernet socket..
