My boyfriend seemed to like that game along with Penumbra, kinda a freaky game. : O
It really is a great game.
You can't fight back; your only method of defense is to hide, and the writing is amazing (though abundant). I love watching streams of it, especially since my computer won't let me play it. ;-;

I mean when you play on hardcore, you have your newly purchased javelin gun, you pin a necromorph to a wall and electrocute the shit out of him, you turn around, and then the dammed thing comes up behind you and ass rapes you.
That right thar is some pretty scary shit.
Dead Space 2 isn't so much a scary game as an action game.
