How to get a FUCKIN' job

So people stop begging for money like loosers and then QQ when people ask them to strip.

Step 1. Take a shower.
Step 2. Blow dry your hair, and brush it.
Step 3. Put on your nicest clothes/
Step 4. Drive somewhere, and bring a pen.
Step 5. Go in somewhere, ask for an application.
Step 6. FILL IT OUT THERE
Step 7. Turn it in SAME DAY
Step 8. As you turn it in, ask if there's someone to talk to right now
Step 9. If there is, you will be interviewed and either accepted or rejected or told to call back. If there isn't, you will be told to call back.
Step 10 (only if not accepted in step 9). call back in 2 days
Step 11. Continue to call back as specified until they either hire you, or tell you to stop calling back and reject you.

If none of that worked, go somewhere else and repeat.

I'm pretty sure Ksrocks is like 14.

Businesses are more likely to hire you if they see you are actually putting in an effort to get the job. Applying in person further solidifies that you really do want the job.

Minora - Seriously? Half of the places that are hiring here do not even have paper applications. If you are serious about a real job, you have to fill out a resume. With working at my University, all I get is a simple, "E-mail me your resume and times available." That's all we do. Fuck you talkin' about in person? Lolol, what day and age do we live in again? People don't even talk to people face to face anymore. Come on now.

As someone who gets jobs and lives and works in a professional world. She's correct. Online apps. are filtered and only used in large retail outlets and even then, going in and talking to the person that runs the joint will get you the job way easier than hoping they pick your loser ass out of a hundred online questionnaires. Cover letters, resumes, nice clothes, and actually being professional all get you jobs. I worked in the city government for awhile, was a TA and ran the planetarium, and a guitar teacher at bestbuy all because I talked to someone, handed them a resume, and looked like someone they'd want to hire. Guitar teacher bit did not involve nice clothes or hair brushing, but this was because I made sure I looked like the people that already worked there.

THANK YOU. I mean it's not like i pulled this out of my ass. These steps got me a job at hobby lobby, one that paid 11 bucks an hour.

11 bucks an hour is below minimum wage here. I think here it's at like 16.

11 buck an hour is a manager without a college degree or someone with an AA at a unskilled labor job.
7.25 is min. wage in the US.

11 bucks an hour is great for an entry level job.

Blegh, I'm gettin' paid $8.15 an hour starting out as a Research Assistant...my sister made $24 an hour as an Intern, and she is going to be making $36 an hour next summer as an intern again for Deloitte. How did she get the job? Phone interviews, emailing resumes, networking.

Indeed, if you allow your prospective employer to see you in action, see your actual level of commitment to getting the job and your overall organisational skills in work then it should be easy to get a job. I got hired to a well-paying full time position because of the work I put into a summer camp that paid peanuts. Show your employer that you're grade A material

The key to getting a job is a good cover letter and resume.
Also be sure to tell them everything that they want to hear.
