Restringing my guitar with a light gauge so I could do some speed and bend stuff faster and easier and the fucking high e string snapped even though it had almost no tension on it. Ridiculous! Freaking cut my hand too. God freaking damn it!
Guitar kids: I use .11 RPS Beefy Slinkys which puts me basically in a .12 or .11 titanium usually. I have a very low action and I put a good bit of tension on my string so they really ring. I dropped down to a .9 super slinky because I was told that after playing on the string I have used for so long that dropping to the .9 would let me play faster and do some sweet bends but yeah. Snap! Grrr!

Funny that, I was restringing my acoustic guitar two nights ago and one of the strings snapped, slicing my right thumb deep. Shit sucks and hurts man.

The last time I restrung an acustic I was using beast strings so I could change the tuning a lot and end up stabbing myself with a string. It went deep man and hurt for weeks. I also received a few cuts.
I have 30 minutes till the music store down the street closes and band practice tomorrow...grr. I'm gonna have to take another guitar and have this one set up again.
