I once bottled beer in England, I remember posting a picture in the old PYP thread where I was stuck in the town I worked in and had to sleep in the phonebooth while it was snowing till the trains started up again.

Also worked in a below the radar vitamin supplement warehouse where everyone spoke polish except for me. Now all I do is play Wii with kids and whatnot.

I think I recall the picture very vaguely. But probably not. The second one is definitely interesting to say the least. :P Guess you got paid under the table then. Love those kind. How'd you land that sketchy job anyhow? Andd, is playing videogames with children, and whatnot, your dream "job"? :3

I got paid in cash at the end of each week by some foreign bodybuilder type guy that you would never wanna cross xD I actually got it through a recruitment agency that specialized in temp jobs. I was so quiet and nice to everyone that they decided to hire me permanently which I fucked up by staying home wallowing in depression. After that job I landed in Mail sorting graveyard shift for the Royal Mail. That one sucked even more so I got sent back to Bermuda for lack of interest.

And my current job working with the community is awesome on so many levels. I'm currently in planning phase of proposing a Mural project for the bus stops around each community center to cover up all of the gang related "art" aswell as part of the committee that chooses how the camp I used to work for operates this coming summer.

Also getting a solid 40 bucks an hour starting pay isn't so bad either <3

Haha, I wonder if the temp agency I've signed up for is that lazy at looking up background information on businesses. Eh, as long as it pays good and I don't get shot. :P

That's amazing. I've only just started volunteering for an animal adoption agency, but It still gives the satisfaction of helping the community. The feeling feels amazing, and that mural project sounds fantastic. I'd be excited to be able to say I helped create something so beneficial to my society. 40.00?! You lucky bastard xD

Damn you, I got turned down from the SPCA D: I would much prefer to work with animals no matter the pay.

Not really a idealistic frame of mind but I tend to have a lot of left over money that I really don't need on the side with my job. I am not one prone to materialistic needs so I spend the remainder of my money on crap that I don't really need.

A bit like this doomsday usb button thingy I ordered online. >_>

If you've heard of petsmart they bring in cats and small dogs. That's what I signed up for. Whole, "new year, better me". There's another one I'm really interested in which is helping disabled children learn how to care for and ride horses but I'm on a waiting list. So, we'll see.

Only interesting job was a week on the countryside cleaning trucks. I also worked with disabled children for two years, but that wasn't really a job...
#17
Isn't that the pot calling the kettle black mister idealist? :P

It is some computer, if you have reached your free quota for the month, which they dont tell you, your answers switch over to a computer trying its best to find pre-answered questions that look like yours.

thats me lol
#32
Are you a dude?
#33
Cha-cha works really well, just saying. Sometimes it's like... 10 minutes... but most of the time it's instant almost...
#34
ChaCha works depending on the person you get. Some of them are idiots and just click the first answer they find so they get their pay.
I actually enjoy finding the right answers. :D
#35
I hate those. I was asking about some dude and they gave me a definition on a word.
#36
Yeah, sometimes the computers auto classify a question into a "finder" for definitions, weather, etc.
People who answer (Expediters) don't bother actually reading it and just throw it in.
Warnings actually pop up for some questions letting you know the customer is angry and unsatisfied with their previous answer. :P
#37
wait stormie your one of the operator people?
#38
That's what this topic was about. o.O
#39
how much do you get paid for this? (Is it hourly or based on how many questions you answer?)
#40
You get .10-.20 per question answered. Like I said, it's something fun to do when bored. plus cash.
