my internet modem keeps going off wut could be the problem?? it goes off like every 3 or 7 mins whe nit gets pasted 9 o ' clock

Try re-setting it. Unplug it for about 1min. Then plug it back in. It sounds like the firmware is corrupt. Is it a cable or DSL modem? If it's a DSL modem it could also be having trouble creating a telnet session. Call your isp and tell them about the problem. But try re-setting it first.

Unplug your power cable from the modem for 1 min. Then plug it back in. If the problem still exists call your internet service provider.

try taking the plug tht gos in the electrisity out and leving it for lke a min if tht dosnt seem to wrk call up the compny and tell them u prblm.
Mine does the same thing. However when I went to 192.168.100.1 (my modems address) and I restored it to factory defaults, it seemed to fix the problem.

He probably has a basic modem. Not a router/modem combo. The only way to reset it would be by unplugging the power and re-connecting it.
