Any one hear about windows 8?
It will be coming out next year if my memory serves me correct? But i seem to have found an advanced beta copy, I am kinda scared to open it? My friend uploaded it in a torrent and he says it works but I am kinda iffy? Any one think it's real? The only reason I don't trust him is because he has tryed to screw my comp up before?>:(

I I think I am going to install virtual box and install it on there. I don't want my father to have to fix my computer yet again.

P.S.-If you want I can give you the link to the torrent, If you wanna try it your self.

There are no betas for windows 8. If there even is one coming out, there would be info on it on the Microsoft site.

Windows 8 is another word for Vista the Sequel.

If you think they would build off of Windows Vista, you ma'am, are wrong. Windows 7 was such a great thing, I doubt they would build off of anything aside from Windows 7.

Information about a Windows 8 build from November have recently been posted on the Internet. The build dates back to November 8, 2010 and has the build number 6.1.7900.0. The build number indicates that Windows 8 in its current phase is still using the kernel used in Windows 7. That’s a natural process and Microsoft will switch to a newer Kernel later in the development, likely to 6.2.

According to sources close to the development process Windows 8 has finished Milestone 1 and is currently in the Milestone 2 phase. It is projected that the operating system will enter Milestone 3 stage in the first half of 2011 and it is likely that the first beta will be released in the second half of the year 2011.

I don't hear about it yet but if it release next year i hope it would better then windows 7 and we saw some more better features in it and enjoyed it.

its a custom windows 7 build, I'm pretty sure at least...
If you got it from Cyberwarez, then you have the same one as me.

It doesn't support most games though, thats why it's gonna suck balls.

That is cool, to bad that isn't windows 8 lol. It's Win7 with a custom layout.

I've dual-booted and used Windows 8. Trust me: You don't want it. It's a horrible operating system with a horrible layout. It looks as if it was made for a touch-screen computer, not someone who browses the internet and programs and everything. It looks like it's for a grandpa, not a kid or businessman.
