Some dude just tried to Social Engineer his way into my clan on Xfire. It didn't work. He then told me that he was getting paid 2k to hack into and remove my clan. I doubt it's really 2k, more like $20. Anyways, he said his way of entering would be through Cross-Site-Scripting or what you all may know as SQL injection. He is in one clan called {DK}Dragon Knights of which they have 71 members, and over 1 million hours of HCE. That clan was created 3 months ago and if all 71 members kept their HCE on 24/7, they would only be able to get to 140,000 hours in that time. I know this guy can hack, but to what degree I don't know.

What should I do? There is no way for me to block an SQL injection is there?

Plus, if he does hack you and does something that can be 'damaging' you might have the right to sue. :)

His mom got mad when he got a fake credit card. She isn't going to allow him to sue someone for hacking his online game clan.

Just in case he does, I know he can hack I just don't know how much.

If he was going to "hack and remove your clan" and was a serious hacker, he probably wouldn't have needed to try and join through social engineering.
I think he's just trying to mess with your head.

I am honestly disappointed by the content of this thread. I ws expecting an epic DBZ thread, then I read something about X-Fire.
