I'm not sure what happened to make him change to current state but it works.
My only concern is that for as long as I've been on LG mods have railed that users aren't the ones that decide who gets to be a mod so I'm curious about the change.

Im sure he has learnt his lesson

We can't have a mod that nobody likes. It makes no sense at all, the same reason the votes from team members count the most when adding a new team member.
