As far as planning I never really care how I got married/will get married, though if you're looking for something romantic you can get married in sedona.

I like the way I said it better.

You want them to approve get dude to ask permission then set up proposal with them, then act surprised when it happens. Other option is get knocked up,the kind of people your dad seems to be usually demand shot gun weddings.

My best suggestion would be to not get married. You're too young and if people won't approve it will only make the challenge that is marriage that much harder.
