In need of help~
Vegan project, in need of vegetarian dishes. I need:

  • 4 Appetizers
  • 2 soups
  • 2 salads
  • 3 entrees
  • 2 desserts

I'll decrease numbers as I go. I need full recipes, quantity, yield, portion sizes and all. If not all, at least the quantity of each ingredient so I can calculate yield and portion size. Remember: Vegan dishes only. Ovo-vegetarian, and lacto-vegetarian are ok. Halp? I'm swamped with so much more work than this x_x

Sorry, I'm the kind of guy who eats things that just need to be shoved into the oven at a certain temperature for a certain amount of time.

Ha, we were forced to do this project. It's an eye opener to the restaurant world. Vegan is a money grabber. Not many restaurants want to deal with it, so some people don't go out to eat, therefore not spending their money in your establishment. They are making us do a vegan menu, cost it out, and compare to a regular menu. We get graded on the menu, cost analysis, and thoughtfulness of the menu items.

It's not that bad. You meet new friends with more interests as you, professors are not as scary as people make them out to be, and after you get into the groove of everything it's relatively easy.

no text and low minutes plan eliminates cell phone.
10 minute leechblock eliminates facebook.
possibly going 1.2k miles away eliminates gatherings on holidays.

One: WTH, college with a blocker? Lame.
Two: Skype. It's wonderful. OR: Prepaid phones (I have at&t) + 20$ = unlimited text for 1 month. I average out about ... 6,000 texts a month. Wonderful >_>
Three: Trust me, you will be home for holidays. Especially if you're in a university. They kick you out of the dorms on holidays unless you live in a certain dorm for housing like that (international students and what not). Other than that, if you even care for your family, you'll be back. >_>

Neither did I. I was applying to a few universities, and read their housing details. You have to pay close attention to that. All the ones I read said if you didn't live in ____ (mainly the international student's housing) you will be kicked out come the break. Most of the universities here had those terms.

I need over the top, yet simple restaurant-style salad ideas. I have a citrus salad. Anyone else up for ideas? Just one recipe needed.
