Dude [Spoiler Alert]
The ending of it was beautiful how it lead into Halo 1 and how it made so much sense. I could have cried. The last LAST level was so eerie that I wanted to cry too. Dead spartans lying everywhere and covenant coming out of the fog, it was genius.

That last level makes the game, the rest of the campaign is shit.

I almost cried, then I realized the story was as deep as the storyline of Adventure Time and that Halos had some of the dumbest characters ever so I went to multiplayer.

The connection between 6 and 117 is that they both pretty much had the same amount of skill and such but 117 had "luck" as described in the beginning of Halo 3. 6's job was to deliver Cortana to the Pillar of Autumn (where 117 is) so it could leave Reach. When it leaves Reach and appears out of the slipspace rupture near Halo and Captain Keys says "Cortana, all I need to know is: Did we lose them?", that is the beginning cutscene to Halo 1 except with all new models and not shitty graphics of course.

The complete end where you are alone with all the dead spartans on the island represent the complete fall of Reach. The eerie atmosphere describes the serenity of the war but all of the dead super soldiers represents the desperation of humanity.

What pissed me off isn't that YYZ keeps spurning Halo, but that among the pile of dead spartans, there was a white CQB or CQC spartan lying right next to a sniper. Sniper =/= CQ.
