HEY LG MEMBERS. I'VE NOTICED 1 OF 2 THINGS IN THE PAST WEEK...
lgiscorrupt and the 2nd being I'm extremely inactive because of that reason.I'm not saying people will care if 'I' persae leave the forum...but those who have worked hard to get into UG silver now have been put back at the bottom. Also you have to apply to be one now is it me or WTF. Maybe LG staff wants to stop the leachers and spammers.Yet 600 pc and more before the jy had post count--- eh would be banned before they could even get called a spammer. And with leachers I think someone with more than 200 posts is officially hooked on lg for the time being and are probably going to commit in the community. NOT EVERYONE is a programmer so lower the standards rly..I won't apply for any ug but imo it sucks. lgiscorrupt.goodbye and google better not use the cc #i gave him.
Uhh... bye? The only thing i dont like is them removing Logical Gold (Or whatever) and the whole applications thing =/ the only thing i truly hate about that though is the ppd T.T what if i cant come on EVERY day? Then my ppd goes down, and its like "BOOM" I need to spend 4 days getting it up >.>

It takes a while for the PPD to go down. You would have to be gone for a few months for it to dramatically go down.
@Scrubs, The whole point of the UG is exclusivity. If anyone can just walk in there after 100 post then it isn't exactly exclusive. And as for silver, it is now the UG for Lg's absolute top contributers. And you don't need to program to get in, you can be accepted by making original guides, helping people when they need it, having a great attitude, and a ton of other things.
I don't see how it's corrupt? I mean it just means we have to *gasp* contribute? Isn't that what underground is all about, if you haven't contributed anything then you don't deserve to get anything.

You make no sense. So you're saying that because you posted and/or spammed 500 times you deserve the right to UG Silver whereas the member that's been here as long as you hasn't had time to post because he/she is busy making contributions to the website doesn't deserve it?
Silver doesn't require you be able to program, but it sure as hell boosts your chances.
I already said that I wont use it so I don't see why you had to bring that up. FYI i don't even have the information anymore.
Anyway, what you stated is um.. "retarded". You DON'T need to be a programmer just to get into SILVER. We approve applications base on the user's activities and contribution. WE NEVER made a requirement saying you had TO release a BOT just to get accepted. All we asked is that you made some sort of contribution (Free accounts, Graphic Designs, Guides, Helping others and etc). The requirements aren't even hard to reach nor is the post counts. It's the way you think that made everything seems "corrupted". LG is not corrupted.
@Flareboy323: It wasn't the staff fault for disabling the plugin system. When we upgraded to vBulletin 4.0 all the plugin would crash the site. Everyone is trying their best to bring it back and/or make improvements.

Most ug silver members didn't do shit to get there, but post.

Get some grammar; to get into silver you need to post guides, graphics, and other things that may/will contribute to the community.

Plugins are messed up so LG gold system doesnt work, on my free time i set up a home server running lamp (web server basically) and i installed vbulletin on it. I will see what i can do for an addon for gold.

Stop leeching, act how you want to be treated. You dont get anything good if you cant contribute something. Lowering the standards i can understand but we are not going to get rid of them completely. They are there for a logical reason. So people contribute to the community.

I think lg was a lot easier to join in the community without all the stats that need to be achieved now. For instance 50 pc was fine and the silver was good to 500 pc? who spends that much time on a forum where the jy had 0 pc and hasn't contributed enough?
