So, what got you into hacking?

Title = wisdom of the thread.

My pathetic excuse:
I'm a regular of the Breedables forum on Gaia, and lemme tell ya, art there is DAMN EXPENSIVE. So eventually I got fed up with saving for MILLIONS OF GOLD FOR ONE PIECE OF ART, and I tried to make my own shop. Fail. xD So I just came here and now I'm trying to scam/hack a mil or so for some art to open up a shop. :/

This is the site that got me into hacking, this one guy told me about it through email, i remember his email was undercovergeko, but I havn't found him on here yet, it's been over a year now. But yea, this is the very site.

A tree was blocking my view of the sun so I decided to buy an axe, and I got hooked from there.

Kay, well, I consider hacking the following:
1) Hacking a server or site with a third-party program.
2) Stealing one's account by use of tricking the original owner.

Around 06 I saw my cousin hacking into a crap load of gaia accounts. She left for a bit so I took over. Wasn't that interested in it. In 09 I read in a guild about logicalgamers and that I shouldn't go to this site because it'll get me banned. I came to this site and learned more about flps and such. When lg went down for like a week or so I went looking for a new site of hacking and found hackforums. And then I learned ever more styles of hacking and such. So yeah. My cousin sort of sparked my interest.

I almost decided to stop when a mule got banned [thank god they didn't chainban], but then I decided that it was too much fun...despite the constant risk.

Life's just funnier when you stop following the rules and just do what the hell you want.

One of the end results of that, I am failing a class in school.

I'm a programmer. That's my job. I wanted to program for non-hacking reasons. Picked up hacking along the way. You have to know how to hack in order to program, so that you can know how to prevent hacks.
